Quotations are hereby requested for the Supply of Diesel according to the specification below:

  • 2500L of diesel.

Suppliers must take particular note of the following:

  • COMPULSORY SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS, EVEN IF THEY WERE SUBMITTED BEFORE.
  • Supplier must be in possession of a valid license accreditation for supplying fuel and related consumables that is issued by the Department of Energy and Minerals.
  • Thirty days credit facility will be arranged with the appointed service provider.
  • Diesel will be collected from the fuel station by the CHDA bakkies, no transport costs to be charged by service provider.
  • Fuel will not be collected at once from the fuel station, it will be collected as and when need arises.
  • Submit a copy of the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration summary report.
  • Service providers should also complete & submit the MBD 4 form to declare the interest of the Directors of the Company.
  • Submit a valid Tax Clearance Certificate /Pin
  • If a supplier is not a VAT vendor, VAT must not be included, otherwise all the prices must include VAT.

 

Evaluation criteria (Only applicable to quotations equal to/ above R2 000.00)

  • This is an 80/20 preference points system.
  • Price is allocated up to 80 points & 20 points will be allocated as follows:
  • Black ownership >=51% black owned (Max. 10 points)
  • 10 points for black owned company, confirmable by proof of CSD registration and certified ID copy(ies) of entity’s director(s)
  • Nil points for no black ownership
  • Locality (MAX. 5 points)
  • 5 points will be allocated to service providers within CHD jurisdiction, confirmable by valid proof of address/lease agreements/rates account statement
  • Nil points outside CHD jurisdiction.
  • Youth ownership (Max. 2.5 points)
  • 5 points, confirmable by proof of CSD registration and certified ID copy(ies) of entity’s director(s)
  • No points if above age of youth
  • Disability (Max. 2.5 points)
  • 5 points for the people living with disabilities, confirmable by certification document from a medical practitioner.
  • Nil points for people with no disabilities.
