REQUEST FOR QUOTATION

RFQ/25/2019-20

Quotations are hereby requested for the Provisioning of Security Guarding Services for the RAFI Beef Project according to the following terms of reference/specification:

The security guarding services will be rendered for 3 months in the Lismore Farm at Sterkstroom;
Main objectives of the security services are the protection of livestock and access control into and from the farm;
Lease of temporal Security Guard House with own lights/ power arrangements;
1 X Armed Grade D Security Officer and 1 X unarmed Grade C Security Officer for the Day Shift;
1 X Armed Grade D Security Officer and 2 unarmed Grade C Security Officers for the Night Shift;
The security officer(s) must patrol around the farm regularly; The Security service Provider must offer regular (with at least 6 hours intervals) back-up patrols by armed security supervisor(s);
Security service Provider must ensure that all the security officers are always wearing identifiable uniforms;
Security service Provider must ensure that all the security officers always have reliable communication gadgets;
Suitable service providers must be registered with PSIRA in order for their quotes to be considered;
Suitable service providers must attend the Compulsory Site Visit on Friday, 13th March 2020 at 11h00 and sign the attendance register before 11h10 in order for their quotes to be considered; Interested service providers must meet the CHDA officials at the gate of Lismore Farm in Sterkstroom (GPS Coordinates -31⁰36’02.25” S and 26⁰33’17.05” E) on Friday, 13th March 2020 at 11h00.

Suppliers must take particular note of the following:

STANDARD COMPULSORY SUBMISSION DOCUMENTS, EVEN IF THEY WERE SUBMITTED BEFORE;

Submit a copy of the National Treasury Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration summary report
Service providers must complete & submit the MBD 4 form to declare the interest of the Directors of the Company
Submit the valid copy of the B-BBEE certificate or a Sworn Affidavit for B-BBEE Level of status of contribution
Submit a valid copy of a Tax Clearance Certificate / of a SARS Tax Pin document
If a supplier is not a VAT vendor, VAT must not be included, otherwise all the prices must include VAT.
