INVITATION FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS REGISTRATION ON THE CENTRAL SUPPLIER DATABASE

CHDA, registered as the Chris Hani Development Agency, is a state – owned company (SOC) and is wholly owned by the Chris Hani District Municipality.  The agency is implementing the Municipal Finance Management Act number 56 of 2003 (MFMA) Circular number 81 on Web Based Central Supplier Database (CSD).

 The CSD became effective for municipalities and municipal entities from 1 July 2016. The Chris Hani Development Agency is therefore inviting and encouraging all service providers who are doing business and who would like to do business with the Agency to register on the CSD. Service providers must use the following link to register: www.csd.gov.za.

 Only service providers who are registered on the CSD will be able to do business with CHDA and all other government departments or government entities.

 CHDA does no longer issue out Suppliers Database Application Forms to prospective service providers.
